Specialty Roofing in Kansas City
Metal panel systems, tile, designer asphalt, and custom architectural details. The work people drive past and remember — installed and documented by the same owner-led crew that handles the rest of our roofs.
Specialty roofing is where craftsmanship matters most. The materials are more expensive. The detailing is more visible. The margin for error is lower. Every specialty job is walked by the Rebuilt team before any work begins — material selection, fastening pattern, flashing schedule, and warranty path are decided up front and documented in your Roof Proof File.
We install systems from the major North American shingle manufacturers and from specialty metal and tile suppliers. The right product for your home depends on the architecture, your warranty priorities, your budget, and how visible the roof actually is from the street. We’ll walk through the trade-offs honestly — no upsell to a designer line if a standard architectural shingle is what the house wants.
For homes with custom architectural elements — turrets, dormers, copper accents, integrated chimney work — the bigger value is the integration plan. A specialty roof that fails at the dormer detail isn’t a specialty roof anymore. We’ll show you photos and a written flashing schedule before we touch the fasteners.
If your project needs a manufacturer-certified installer for a specific high-end product line, we’ll tell you up front and help you find the right partner. The point is honesty, not aspirational scope.
What we install
Premium systems, documented like everything else we do.

Metal panel systems
Standing seam, exposed fastener, and stone-coated metal. Long-life roofing for homes where the architecture deserves it.

Tile and shake
Concrete tile, clay tile, and engineered shake profiles. Underlayment, flashings, and ridge detail done the way the warranty assumes.

Designer asphalt
Slate-look, shake-look, and impact-resistant designer shingles from GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, and Malarkey.

Custom architectural detail
Turrets, dormers, integrated metal accents, copper transitions. The work the eye lingers on.
